Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have ... The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases. - Gerald R. Ford / Thomas Jefferson

The RIGHT Kind of Change

I believe in a smaller, less intrusive government and less wasteful spending

I believe in safeguarding private property rights.  Unethical land grab policies proposed by our county government are counter to our Fifth Amendment Rights”

I believe we should focus on business growth that provides a multitude of opportunities including:

  • An increase in local jobs with better wages through private enterprise not government expansion programs.
  • Lift the tax burden on property owners
  • New services and retail business opportunities that meet our needs so we can stop supporting surrounding counties with our money and instead put our dollars back into the county where we live.

I believe economic prosperity is essential to environmental progress. Environmental stewardship is best advanced where property is privately held.  People who own the land also protect it.

I believe that in the current economic climate it would be outrageous to raise taxes and impose new fees.

I believe in transparency and improved communications with the citizens of Chatham County.
